By accessing or using any website operated by Azimuth Running LLC, including AzimuthRunning.com and backyardofcrazy.netlify.app, or by submitting any form, registration, or inquiry through our platforms, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our websites or services.
About Azimuth Running LLC
Azimuth Running LLC is a Texas limited liability company that produces endurance running events, including The Backyard of Crazy ultra-marathon. All events and services are operated under Azimuth Running LLC.
Use of Our Websites
You agree to use our websites only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You may not:
- Use our websites to transmit any unlawful, harmful, or offensive content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our websites or systems
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from our websites without written permission
- Impersonate Azimuth Running LLC or any of its representatives
- Use our websites in any way that could damage, disable, or impair their operation
Event Registration and Participation
By registering for any event, you acknowledge that:
- Endurance events involve significant physical and mental risk
- You are responsible for ensuring your own physical fitness and preparedness
- All entry fees are subject to the NO REFUNDS, NO DEFERRALS, NO BIB TRANSFERS policy unless otherwise stated in writing by Azimuth Running LLC
- Azimuth Running LLC and its Race Director reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel any event due to safety concerns, weather, permit issues, or other circumstances beyond our control
- In the event of cancellation, refund decisions will be made at the sole discretion of Azimuth Running LLC
Sponsorship and Vendor Agreements
Submission of a sponsorship inquiry form does not constitute a binding agreement. Sponsorship arrangements are only binding when confirmed in writing by an authorized representative of Azimuth Running LLC.
Confirmed sponsors are subject to the sponsor expectations and deliverables outlined in their tier agreement, including but not limited to asset deadlines, on-site conduct requirements, and the "Support, Don't Sell" wellness standard for on-site activations.
Intellectual Property
All content on our websites — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, the Azimuth Running name and mark, The Backyard of Crazy name and mark, the "Suffer & Earn" payout structure name, and the "Golden Ticket" program name — is the property of Azimuth Running LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any of our content without prior written permission.
Media Release
By attending or participating in any Azimuth Running LLC event, you grant Azimuth Running LLC and its authorized agents the irrevocable right to use photographs, video recordings, and other media taken of you during the event for marketing, promotional, and media purposes without compensation.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our websites and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Azimuth Running LLC does not warrant that our websites will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Azimuth Running LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our websites or participation in our events.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Azimuth Running LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising out of your use of our websites, your violation of these Terms, or your participation in any event.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas. You waive any objection to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our websites following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
