Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using backyardofcrazy.azimuthrunning.com, the event site for The Backyard of Crazy, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this site.

Event Participation

Participation in any Azimuth Running LLC event, including The Backyard of Crazy, is entirely voluntary and undertaken at your own risk. All participants must:

• Be 18 years of age or older at the time of registration
• Complete and sign all required waivers prior to participation
• Abide by event rules and the decisions of event officials
• Carry their own personal insurance — Azimuth Running LLC does not provide participant medical coverage

Assumption of Risk

Endurance events carry inherent risks including but not limited to physical injury, illness, dehydration, and exposure to environmental conditions. By registering for or participating in any Azimuth Running LLC event, you acknowledge and accept these risks and release Azimuth Running LLC, its officers, agents, and volunteers from liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation.

Registration and Entry Fees

Entry fees are processed through RunSignup and are governed by their terms and refund policies. Azimuth Running LLC reserves the right to cancel or postpone events due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to permit denial, weather, or public safety concerns. In the event of cancellation, refund policies will be communicated directly to registered participants.

Suffer & Earn Payout

The Suffer & Earn cash-back payout structure is a proprietary program of Azimuth Running LLC. Payout eligibility, amounts, and distribution are determined solely by Azimuth Running LLC and are subject to change. Final payout terms will be published in the official event rules prior to registration opening. Payout is contingent on the event taking place as scheduled.

Golden Ticket Program

The Golden Ticket influencer program is offered at the sole discretion of Azimuth Running LLC. Azimuth Running LLC reserves the right to accept, deny, or revoke Golden Ticket status at any time. Entry slots awarded through the Golden Ticket program are non-transferable and subject to the same event rules as standard registrations.

Intellectual Property

All content on our websites, including text, graphics, logos, and event branding, is the property of Azimuth Running LLC and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without express written permission.

Photography and Media

By participating in an Azimuth Running LLC event, you grant Azimuth Running LLC and its authorized media partners the right to photograph, film, and use your likeness in promotional and documentary materials without compensation.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.
