Volunteer · Early 2027 · Location TBA
The Backyard of Crazy runs through the night — and none of that happens without a crew behind it. Multiple volunteer shifts available across the full event, from aid station to course safety to media. Free shirt, meals, and a front-row seat to something historic.
Man the aid station at the start/finish corral. Assist runners between loops with water, nutrition hand-off, and basic supplies.
Stationed along the loop to ensure runner safety, flag hazards, and provide directional support throughout the night.
Track loop completions, assist with runner check-in at the start gate, and support the timing team at each bell.
Support our camera crews, capture social content, and help document the inaugural event from start to finish.
Assist with facility setup, crew zone management, signage, and general event operations across the site.
Welcome runners and crews, manage check-in, answer questions, and be the first face people see when they arrive.
Shift Blocks
Setup, course marking, equipment staging, and runner check-in ahead of the first bell.
Aid station, timing, course safety, and basecamp operations while the field is still deep.
The hardest block and the most memorable one. This is where the race gets decided.
Witness the last loop. Awards, breakdown, and site cleanup.
Fill out the form and we'll reach out with shift details and confirmation once the date is locked. No experience required — just show up ready to be part of it.
